Region: DO Riberio

Ribeiro, which means ‘river bank’, is a small region in northwest Spain. It was named a DO 50 years ago and today is undergoing a renaissance thanks to its return to native white grape varieties such as Treixadura, Loureira, and Torrontes, which grow well in the damp maritime climate of northwestern Iberia.

Gran Campiño
White wines from Ribeiro are typically crisp, aromatic whites that pair well with the seafood and shellfish common in the area. The wines from the vineyards of Gran Campiño are a perfect representation of these little-known whites. Intriguingly fragrant with a nose similar to Muscat, these wines are perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day.
